I'm a long time toad user, first time poster ;) I've run into a problem when using F9. After I type out a SQL statement (finishing it with a semicolon), I press F9 to execute. However in Toad 7.0 this will not execute the statement you just typed, it will execute the NEXT statement. This behavior is somewhat inconsistent because it's important that you type a statement from scratch and the statement is directly above another valid SQL statement. After that, if the cursor is at the end of the line, but out side of the semicolon, it will execute the statement on the next line. Of course I expect the intended behavior of F9 to execute what line my cursor is on, regardless of if the cursor is outside of the semi color or in a comment at the end of the line. Whitespace should not matter either. Thank you for listening, I hope this can get into the Bug Fixes for the next version of Toad. -Joe
