Hi, THere has been some time since I last time connected to my few MySQL DBs via Toad, and today when I tried to connect I got the following error: System.Xml.XmlException '', hexadecimal value 0x03, is an invalid character. Line 1, position 1. Stack Trace: at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(String res, String[] args) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ThrowInvalidChar(Char[] data, Int32 length, Int32 invCharPos) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseRootLevelWhitespace() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Read() at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read() at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent() at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(XmlReader reader, Boolean denyResolving) at System.Data.DataSet.ReadXml(String fileName) at Quest.PersistentCache.DataEngine.LoadDataSet() at Quest.PersistentCache.DataEngine.Contains(DimensionTypes dimensionType) at Quest.PersistentCache.PersistentCache.Contains(DimensionTypes type) at Quest.Toad.DatabaseBrowser.ObjectPaletteControl.SetObjectNodeImage(TreeListNode node, ITrl trl) at Quest.Toad.DatabaseBrowser.ObjectPaletteControl.SetNodeImage(TreeListNode node, ITrl trl) at Quest.Toad.DatabaseBrowser.ObjectPaletteControl.CreateTypeNode(TreeListNode parentNode, String type) at Quest.Toad.DatabaseBrowser.ObjectPaletteControl.CreateParentTypes(TreeListNode parentNode, String type) at Quest.Toad.DatabaseBrowser.ObjectPaletteControl.updateContentTimer_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) First I thought that as I had old Toad 6.xx, I firstly upgraded it to the newest but I still get the same error. As host for Toad I have Win7 and MySQLs are running on CentOs, even though I think this is Windows issue. All the other connection methods are working just fine (SQLYog, MysqlCLI) ANy ideas?
