Currently the only solution is to get SELECT access to the 'mysql' database Toad tries to get privileges information form the 'mysql' DATABASE but you do not have SELECT access to the 'mysql' DATABASE in shared host environment, I guess the developers of toad should put a parameter (or do it automatically) to skip privileges retrieval/comparison when there is no SELECT access to the 'mysql' DATABASE
