Hello, This has consistently been occurring since version 6 and never happens with 5.0.0.345. In my case, it's simple and repeatable consistently: 1. Connect to a mysql instance, ANY mysql instance 2. Open up an editor 3. Do some work 4. Go away for a while (meeting, sleep) 5. Come back and attempt to close Toad 6. Open Task Manager and "End Process Tree" It is quite possible that the connection timeouts on the servers may be an issue... but as this never occurs with version 5, it's definitely a bug :)
