I have some sql that does a " SELECT col1 INTO @col_value FROM db1 ". It executes ok when running from the command line on the server. But running from the Editor tab in Toad for MySql version 7.2.0.2992, it fails with an error.. This command worked in the previous version of Toad. Even if I try to do a simple SELECT 1 INTO @VAR1; , it fails. with an error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SELECT 1 INTO @VAR1' at line 1. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
