Going along just fine and entering data into the tables as I need. Click the checkmark to update and up pops a dialog box showing me it's taking a little longer than usual. Then the next row I add and update, is not the row number I gave it initially. So I have to go online, to phpmyadmin (pma) and there I find the row has been duplicated. Delete the duplicate and update the auto increment number. Why can't I do this in toad? In "Alter tables" under general information, there is a notation showing the next increment, but has no way to edit it. IMO, toad should show the duplicated rows just as pma does. When I create a table and add columns, I check the "not null" box. Yet toad shows "{null}" in the column anwyay. Even if I do not check the box. Is there a way to correct this so "{null}" is not shown and the asterisk still appears beside the column name? Marking the "not null" item either true or false makes no difference.
