SOLVED. I removed by uninstalling "'Download Accelerator Plus" and "Speedbit Accelerator". During uninstall ALL the registry keys related to the programs were removed and any other keys that were altered were returned to their previous values. After the uninstalls Toad agian connected to the Mysql database as before with no errors. eatc7402
