The MySQL Connector/NET distributed with Toad for MySQL is version 6.7.4, which was released in June 2013 ( http://downloads.mysql.com/archives/c-net/ ) - given that Toad for MySQL is fundamentally about connecting to MySQL it would be good to update to the latest version 6.9.7 - there have been 13 releases (not counting betas) since the version used by Toad for MySQL, some of them with pretty long lists of bugs fixed.
